A new job role will be the main reason why most people are relocating to Manchester, relocating to Cheshire or relocating to the North West. On your first visit to the area you may have already decided that you will accept that new role and the purpose of your visit will be to gain an insight into different areas that best meet the needs of you and/or your family or the reason may be to consider if Manchester (and it's surroundings) is a place you are happy to live and work.

An orientation tour is a good first step in any relocation process. Our tours are individually planned to suit your individual requirements: area type; commute times; transport options; housing type; schooling; leisure interests.......Having talked to you about your personal needs and concerns, we will plan a tour to include viewing sample properties in each area but keep things flexible should your needs or opinion change. Whilst it is important that the tour is focused, it is not always possible to be clear about what you are seeking in an area that can be totally unfamiliar.

Schooling is often the major concern for those relocating with children and can determine areas on which to focus and as such we are happy to include an overview of schools during the orientation and familiarisation tour.

We live and work in Manchester so can offer you a true insight into what life is like in the North West.

A case study:

Anna, her husband, Dominic and their young daughter were relocating to Manchester from London. Dominic had been offered a new job role in Altrincham, a market town in Cheshire, 8 miles to the south of Manchester City Centre. The family were looking for a leafy suburb from where Dominic could easily and quickly cycle to Altrincham and Anna would be able to meet other new parents and become involved in activities with their daughter. They also wanted to be able to travel easily to Manchester City Centre. We spent a day familiarising ourselves with Didsbury, Hale, Altrincham and Sale and although Anna particularly loved Hale Village, they secured a newly refurbished house in Sale as they felt it offered better value. The house was close to a Metrolink station and Dominic could cycle to work along the canal and Anna was able to walk along the canal to Sale town centre.
